- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I told my dental hygienist that I was thinking of braces and she suggested Dr. Mejia. From the very first consultation to the day my braces were removed (20 months), I was treated like I was the only patient she had. Dr. Mejia and her staff are absolutely the most professional, caring and compassionate team you will find anywhere. I looked forward to every visit. I was assigned a team person who was with me the whole way. She was a great motivator and cheer leader and really made sure that I knew how to take care of my braces and maintain good oral hygiene. I was 48 years old when I got my braces on and it was one of the best decisions ever to have Dr. Mejia and her team do this for me.
